Setting Description
[Specify the production
settings]
Change the number of sets.
In the [Production] workspace, change the number of sets when
you create the automation template. See icon:
Change the job name.
In the [Production] workspace, change the job name when you
create the automation template. Click icon:
Change the file name and location for the PDF file when you print
to PDF.
When you create the automation template:
1. In the [Production] workspace, select the printer: PRISMApre-
pare print to PDF.
2. Click [Print].
The [Print to PDF] dialog opens.
3. Click [Browse...] to configure the name and the location for the
PDF file.
4. Click [Save] and [OK].
Select the printer that you want to send your document to.
In the [Production] workspace, select the printer from the drop-
down list when you create the automation template.
Change the value for the barcode. The application does not check
if the entered characters are accepted for the selected barcode.
When you create the automation template:
1. In the [Production] workspace, select the [Layout] tab.
2. Open the settings of the [Imposition template].
3. Open the settings of the [Print marks].
4. Enable [Bar code] and configure its settings.
[Change the spine caption] Type a new text for the spine caption.
In the [Document] workspace, click [Document] - [Spine caption]
when you create the automation template.
3. Click [Create parameter file] to save the subset of settings of the automation template to a file.
You can use the parameter file to apply the changed settings to automation templates used
by the hot folders.
1. Browse to the location where you want to save the file.
2. Enter a file name and click [Save].
The subset of settings are saved in a file with extension "mrparam".
4. Click [Save] to apply your changes to the existing automation template. Or click [Save as...] to
create a new automation template.
5. Close the automation dialogs.
