Edit text

You can edit the text of a PDF document. However, the edit functionality is limited. You can edit a

maximum of one line of text at a time.

1. Click [Pages] - [Edit text].

2. Select one complete line of text or only parts of the line. A blue border is placed around the

selected text.

3. Edit the text in the dialog.

4. [Keep width of content box]

The content box is the blue border that is placed around the selected text. When the edited

text is longer than the selected text:

• The edited text is completely visible when this option is disabled. The edited text can cover

existing text or images.

• The edited text is cut off at the edge of the content box when this option is enabled.

5. Click [Apply].
