FE L: FE Lock
FE (flash exposure) lock locks the correct flash exposure setting for any
part of the scene.
With
<ETTL> displayed on the LCD panel, you press the camera's
<FE L> button. If the camera does not have the <FE L> button, press
the
<Jt> button.

* Each time you press the <FE L>
button, a preflash will be fired and a
new flash exposure reading will be
locked.
0 QI If the subject is too far away and underexposure will result, the cf > icon
will blink in the viewfinder. Move closer to the subject and try the
FE lock
again.
ir If cETTL> is not displayed on the LCD panel, FE lock cannot be set.
ca If the target subject is too small in the viewfinder, the FE lock might not
be very effective.
