RINGER VOLUME SWITCH
Adjust the volume of the ringer. Use a pen or
other pointed object to adjust the switch to
HIGH, LOW, or OFF.
HIGH
FACE-UP TRAY
Holds printed documents
after they are ejected
from the fax.
POWER SOCKET
Connect the power
cord here.
TELEPHONE LINE JACK (L2)
Connect an additional telephone
line here after installation of the
optional Dual-line Upgrade Kit for
the LASER CLASS
®
3170 Series.
LIFTING HANDLE
Grip the fax here and on
the opposite side to lift the
fax unit.
EXTENSION PHONE JACK
Connect the optional handset jack or an
extension phone jack here.
TELEPHONE LINE JACK (L)
Connect the telephone line here.
PARALLEL INTERFACE
PORT
Connect a parallel interface cable.
(This port is a standard feature for
the LASER CLASS
®
3170MS, and
available for the LASER CLASS
®
3170/3175 after installation of the
optional PCL6 Printer Board.)

This button should only be used
by authorized Canon dealers.
