Operation of a CASIO cash register is simple enough to be mastered without special training.
Getting Started This section outlines how to unpack the cash register and get it ready to operate. You should read this part of the manual even if you have used a cash register before. The following is the basic set up procedure, along with page references where you should look for more details. Us er' sM an ua l Remove the cash register from its box. (in handling the thermal paper) • Never touch the printer head and the platen. • Unpack the thermal paper just before your use. • Avoid heat/direct sunlight. • Avoid dusty and humid places for storage. • Do not scratch the paper.
Getting Started To install journal paper Step 1 Remove the printer cover. Step 2 Step 7 Open the platen arm. Slide the leading end of the paper into the groove on the spindle of the takeup reel and wind it onto the reel two or three turns.
