Option 2 a) Log-in using an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad

Procedure:

3. Select “Settings” on your Apple device (image 1)

4. Go to “Wi-Fi” and connect your Apple device to “musicbox Air 3 XXXXXX” (images 2+3)

5. Open the internet browser on your Apple device (e.g. Safari) and enter the following address in the address

bar: 192.168.1.1 Under “Language” (image 4) select “English”

6. In the screen that appears (image 4) select your wireless network under “Wireless LAN Settings >

Service Set ID (SSID)” and enter your password (image 5)

7. Press “Done” (image 6) and then press “Conﬁrm”. If a warning screen opens press “OK”. The musicbox

Air 3 will now make a “clicking sound” and connects to the selected network

8. Now close your internet browser

Your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad should re-connect automatically to your network. If that does not happen

restore the connection manually. A successful log-in is indicated by a green light on the LED ring of the

musicbox Air 3. This process may take a little time.

If the LED ring continues to ﬂash green the process has failed. To solve this problem please see the chapter

“Troubleshooting” in the Operating Instructions of the musicbox Air 3, starting on page 35.
