b) Log-in using a Smartphone with an Android Operating System

3. Select “Settings” and then “Wi-Fi”. The display on your screen may differ according to the Android

Operating System (image 1–3). If necessary, please have a look at the manual of your smartphone

4. Now select the network “musicbox Air 3 XXXXXX” and press “Connect” (images 4+5)

5. Exit “Settings” and start your internet browser

6. In the address bar enter the address 192.168.1.1. Then the page shown in image 6 should be displayed.

Under „Language“ select „English“

7. In the ﬁeld „Wireless LAN Settings > Service Set ID (SSID)“ select your home network (image 7)

8. Enter your password into the box and press “Open” (image 8). In the new window press “OK” to conﬁrm

(image 9). The musicbox Air 3 will now make a “clicking sound” and connect to the network

9. Close the internet browser

Your Smartphone should re-connect to your network automatically. If that does not happen restore the

connection manually. A successful log-in is indicated by a green light on the LED ring of the musicbox Air 3.

This process may take a little time.

If the LED ring continues to ﬂash green the process has failed. To solve this problem please see the chapter

“Troubleshooting” in the Operating Instructions of the musicbox Air 3, starting on page 35.
