Playing music using
AirPlay.
No music playback. 1. This Apple device is already connected
to the musicbox Air 3 over the USB
port. An iPod, iPhone or iPad can-
not be simultaneously connected via
AirPlay and USB.
1. Disconnect the USB connection be-
tween your Apple device and musicbox
Air 3 in order to be able to transfer
data using AirPlay.
2. The operating system (firmware)
installed on your Apple device is earlier
than iOS Version 4.3.3.
2. Update the device firmware. Note:
a compatible firmware version is not
available for iPod touch (1st and 2nd
generation) and iPhone 3G.
Playing music using
DLNA (Android Smart-
phone).
No music playback. The media player on your device does not
support the playback via DLNA.
Use another media player on your Smart-
phone or install the free App “iMediaShare
Lite” (Version 4.4 or later) in order to
playback music.
Playing music using
iTunes.
No music playback. 1. A firewall or other security software on
your computer is prohibiting the data
transmission.
1. Deactivate your firewall/antivirus
software temporarily or allow the data
transmission from iTunes to musicbox
Air 3.
2. The iTunes version installed on your
computer does not support AirPlay
(earlier than version 10.2.2).
2. Update iTunes to the latest version.
