Problem Possible cause Solution
No playback via
Bluetooth.
2. The mobile end device is connected but no
playback takes place.
2.4. Increase the volume of the musicbox M.
2.5. Ensure that interference sources like a WLAN router
or laptop are not set up in direct proximity of the
musicbox M.
2.6. Concurrent operation of WLAN and Bluetooth from a
mobile end device is not possible without interferences
in most cases.
iPod cannot be
operated via remote
control and shows
“no iPod”.
Contact problem. Remove any protective covers from the iPod/iPhone,
plug the device into the dock connector again.
External subwoofer
has no sound.
External subwoofer is not activated. Activate the external subwoofer (see page 39).
Display is dark. Function DISP is set to “Off”. Select another value then “Off” (see page 39).
Device permanently
shows “CANTON”.
Internal microphone controller has crashed. Switch the device off and on again at the mains plug.
RDS display incorrect. Reception interference. Change the position of the antenna and check its
connection to the musicbox M.
