inside the box Ci302 CD Home System, AC power adapter, wireless remote control and user guide. AC outlet power source Insert the AC plug into a wall outlet having 120V AC, 60Hz. AC adapter’s plug operation Refer to the location of controls diagram before operation. To turn the unit on, press the STANDBY button and the unit will enter TUNER mode first. To turn the unit off, press the STANDBY button again. notes: When the unit is off, it is in standby mode and will display the clock time.
inserting remote battery Remove the battery compartment, located on the bottom rear of the remote control, by sliding the compartment out. (You can also insert a penny or similar object into the groove on the compartment to help side it out. Install a CR2025 battery, paying attention to the polarity diagram in the compartment (positive side up). Replace the battery compartment.
using the FM radio Turn on the unit by pressing the STANDBY button. If you are not already in TUNER mode, press the MODE button and select TUNER mode. Repeatedly press the SKIP UP + button or the SKIP DOWN – button to manually advance the frequency on the display up or down until the desired frequency appears.
retrieving radio presets Turn the unit on and switch to TUNER mode. Press the PRESET + or – button repeatedly to retrieve the desired preset station. streaming music and audio with Bluetooth wireless Turn on the unit by pressing the STANDBY Button. Please the MODE button to set the unit to “BT” mode. Next, press the PAIRING button on the top of the unit. “Ci302” will appear on your Bluetooth enabled device.
using the CD player Turn on the unit by pressing the STANDBY Button. If you are not already in CD mode, press the MODE button and select CD mode. Press the “Press to Open” area on the CD lid to open the CD compartment. Gently press a CD onto the center spindle with the label side facing up and close the CD lid. The total number of tracks will appear in the display. Press the PLAY / PAUSEbutton to begin playback. The current track and elapsed time will appear in the display.
playback from a specific CD track While in STOP mode, press the SKIP UP + button or the SKIP DOWN – button to select a specific track for playback. When the desired track/file is selected, press the PLAY / PAUSE button and playback will begin with the track/file you selected. using random and intro playback To RANDOMLY PLAY the tracks on the disc, while in STOP mode: Press the RANDOM button on the remote; Random playback will begin automatically.
CD memory programming (up to 20 tracks) Programming is the ability to preselect the order in which a series of tracks will be played. While in the STOP mode, press the PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button. “MEM”, the track number and “Pr01” (the program number) will appear in the display. Select a track to be programmed using the SKIP UP + button or the SKIP DOWN – button. Press the PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button to save the track. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to program additional tracks up to a maximum of 20 tracks.
adjusting the volume, treble and bass Press the VOLUME UP ( + ) or VOLUME DOWN ( – ) on the remote or on the main unit to increase or decrease the volume. To MUTE THE MAIN VOLUME: Press the MUTE button on the remote; "MUTE" will appear in the display. Press this button again or either of the VOLUME UP ( + ) or VOLUME DOWN ( – ) on the remote or on the main unit to unmute. To ADJUST THE TREBLE: Press the TREBLE ( + ) or ( – ) button on the remote to increase or decrease the treble.
setting the timer With the unit off, press and hold the TIMER button until the TIMER ON hour blinks in the display. Within a few seconds, press the SKIP UP + or SKIP DOWN – button to set the TIMER ON hour. Then press the TIMER button again to confirm. Repeat to set the TIMER ON minute. Press the SKIP UP + or SKIP DOWN – button to set the desired mode (BT, Tuner, CD). Then press the TIMER button again to confirm. notes: To CANCEL THE TIMER, unit must be in POWER OFF mode.
caring for CDs • Treat the compact disc carefully. Handle the compact disc by the edges only and avoid allowing your fingers to come in contact with the shiny, unprinted side of the disc. • Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc. to the compact disc label. • Clean the compact disc periodically with a soft, lint-free dry cloth. Never use detergents or abrasive cleaners to clean the compact disc. If necessary, use a CD cleaning kit (sold separately).

? FAQs Q: Why is the USB port not charging my devices? A: Make sure that the USB plug is firmly connected into the USB port of the Ci302 and your USB compatible device. Also confirm that the Ci302 is plugged in to a power source as the USB charging port will not operate from the backup batteries.
