White connector on the plug that you can put in the back of the
Radio can plug with the can bus wires. If possible, connect it to the car stereo.
2. Connect the radio antenna to the antenna of your car. It may be that you have an AM /
FM connection in your car (double plug) there is only one to be connected. The blue cable
can be connected to the P.ANT blue connector. (Antenna amplifier)
3. Place the GPS antenna in the highest possible position under the dashboard or on the
dashboard.
You can use the GPS monitor to check how good the reception is.
The other cables can be mounted to make use of extra options such as a USB / subwoofer /
microphone externally (not necessary to place because there is already an internal one in
the device).
Always check whether the radio turns on /off neatly on contact. Consult the corresponding
pages if you cannot find a solution.
Disassembly of the old radio
To disassemble the old radio, it is important to have the right tools. It can differ per car and model
which tools you need. To see how you can best remove / disassemble your radio, you can search on
YouTube for example Radio removal and then the car brand and type. In addition, you may need
disassembly keys to remove the original car radio.
If a non-original system is mounted in your car, make sure that all connections are still original. In
some cases, it may be that a separate power wire has already been installed for installation. This wire
is only needed for non-ready systems and will provide the radio with contact power.
Before installation
1. De-energize the car before starting installation
2. Remove any adapter plugs so that you can mount the new cables on the original connections
3. If there is a DVD player in the radio, remove the transport screws
4. Never press the screen to get the radio into the car during installation. There should be sufficient
space at the rear of the system. Make sure that no cables get stuck between your car and the
system.
Installation of ready-made navigation system
1. Step 1
Connect the supplied connector between your car plug and the radio (20-pin connection). If a
CANBUS (block) is also included with the radio, connect it to the plug of the car radio. In some cases,
there is still a small white connector that can be connected to the radio. If
possible, couple it.
Check that the radio is on/off on contact. Completely remove the key
from the ignition for verification. If the radio does not turn on/off, you
may still need to
disconnect the black connector between the red and orange wire. (Not every plug has this). See
the instructions on the car specific pages if the above is not the case.
