The CardioNet sensor, which can be worn around the
neck or on a belt, senses each heartbeat and
constantly sends the information to the CardioNet
monitor. To communicate with the monitor, the sensor
must remain within 30 feet of the monitor. Walls and
other obstructions can reduce the range. If you go out
of communication range, the sensor will beep to alert
you – to either move back within range or to pick up
the monitor and take it with you.
