5.2b. CLICKTOLINK®: SPONTANEOUS INTERCOM
Click-to-Link (CTL) is the spontaneous, “social” feature of your cardo BK-1. Use CTL to instantly initiate
1-on-1 intercom calls with other cardo BK-1 users near you, without already being paired.
Start a CTL call request
(search lasts up to 10 seconds)
Press for 3 seconds
End a CTL call /
Cancel a CTL call request
Tap
Accept a CTL call
When hearing the CTL ringtone, tap or speak any word loudly to answer
by VOX
Reject a CTL call
While hearing the CTL ringtone, remain silent for 10 seconds or until the
ringtone stops
ENABLE/DISABLE CTL
(Default: DISABLED)
In Standby, press for 2 seconds
Enabled: BLUE ash for 2 seconds
Disabled: RED ash for 2 seconds
At the end of a CTL call, if other cardo BK-1 users are nearby, the next CTL call you attempt may connect
randomly with another user.
Busy Signal
When attempting to establish an Intercom call with another device that is already busy, a busy
signal will be heard. The BK-1 is busy while on a Phone call, Intercom call with CHANNEL A, B, C, D or
Click-to-Link call.
5.2c. VOX SETTINGS
ENABLE/DISABLE VOX
The VOX activation can be customized to make it more or less sensitive. VOX activation for Intercom calls can also be
disabled completely.
You can choose between ‘Regular’ (default) and ‘High’ VOX sensitivity. If you experience diculties starting a
conversation using VOX, change the setting to ‘High’ as follows:
With the cardo BK-1 in Standby, press and simultaneously for 2 seconds.
LED indication:
Regular VOX Sensitivity (default): BLUE ash for 2 seconds
High VOX Sensitivity: PURPLE ash for 2 seconds
VOX Disabled: RED ash for 2 seconds
