Replacing the Ink
Cartridges
If one of the ink cartridges is empty, printing will stop. If an ink-low
warning displays, replace the ink cartridge(s) as soon as possible.
This procedure uses Matte Black ink as an example. Follow the same
steps to replace any ink cartridge.
1. Check that the imager is on.
2. Press the groove in the cartridge cover to open the cover.
3. Push the empty ink cartridge into the imager until you hear a click.
The ink cartridge pops out slightly.
4. Carefully pull the cartridge straight out of the slot.
NOTE: Removed ink cartridges may have ink around the ink supply
port, so be careful not to get ink on the surrounding area when
removing a cartridge. Dispose of the used ink cartridges in
accordance with local ordinances.
