5. Remove the replacement ink cartridge from the bag. Shake the ink
cartridge horizontally for approximately 15 seconds.
CAUTION:
Do not touch the green IC chip on the ink cartridges. This can
cause the imager to malfunction.
6. Match the ink cartridge color with the color label on the back of the
cartridge cover. Hold the ink cartridge with the arrow mark facing
up. The cartridge label is upright and faces you. Insert the cartridge
into the slot as far as it will go until it clicks.
NOTE: When the cartridge is inserted, the label faces out toward you.
7. Repeat the steps for each ink cartridge as needed.
NOTE: Install an ink cartridge in each slot. You cannot print if any of the
slots are empty.
8. Close the cartridge cover.
