Symptom Action
Symptom Action
The DICOM interface typically
displays the loaded media size
on the top line of the screen. If
nothing displays on the top line,
there might be an issue reading
the RF tag on the media.
Cut Sheets—Check the media cassette to confirm that the media is loaded
correctly. The media carrier in the cassette might be empty or loaded
incorrectly. Remove and reseat the media carrier.
The RF tag is the chip on the underside of the media carrier. If it is loose or
is not attached firmly to the media carrier, the media might not be counted
properly. Load a new media package (media plus carrier) in the media
cassette.
Roll Paper—Check that the roll paper is loaded correctly.
The RF tag is the chip on the outside of the paper roll. If it is loose or not
attached firmly to the roll, the media might not be tracked properly. Load a
new roll if necessary.
