Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Clearing a Roll Paper
Jam
1. Press to release the paper presser.
2. Open the roll paper cover and using a cutter, cut off the paper at the
slot of the roll paper feeder.
3. Lift up on the right side of the spindle from the gray flange to bring
the spindle to a 45 ° angle (A). Pull the spindle up and to the right to
remove it from the spindle holder.
4. Remove the jammed paper from the roll paper feeder or front
manual feeder.
5. Open the top cover and remove any other jammed paper.
6. Turn off the imager, and then turn it back on. Reload the paper and
restart printing. See “Loading the Roll Paper” on page 2-9.
