Maintenance and Troubleshooting
1. Retrieve the backup file for your system. If you do not have a
backup file, make a new backup and save it to your computer.
NOTE: A backup file was created at the end of the CHROMA
installation. If you need to create a new backup file, log on to the
Web Portal, and then click the Documentation link. See the
procedure, “Backing up the Software” in the Web Portal
documentation, and follow the instructions to make a backup
file.
NOTE: If you do not have a backup file and cannot create a new file, you
must reconfigure the system after you perform this ghosting
procedure.
2. Shut down the DICOM interface. (Press and release the power
switch.)
3. Install the portable USB flash drive that contains the ghost software
into an unused USB port on the back of the DICOM interface.
4. Press and release the DICOM interface power switch again to begin
ghosting.
Ghosting takes approximately 10 minutes. The imager beeps when
ghosting has completed. If you connected a monitor, the screen
displays the progress and reports when ghosting has completed.
When ghosting completes successfully, the DICOM interface
beeps eight times in one-second, high-frequency tones.
If ghosting fails, the DICOM interface beeps five times in
three-second, low-frequency tones.
5. After ghosting has completed, wait 20 seconds and then power off
the DICOM interface.
6. Remove the USB flash drive.
