CHASSIS TUNING TIPS Slipper Adjustment GT14B Model Car is equipped with an adjustable slipper device that offers both traction control and protection for the gear differentials. The slipper is primarily used to absorb sudden impacts to the drivetrain when using more powerful motors and/or battery packs. In addition it can be used to limit the amount of wheel spin when running on an extremely slick surfaces.

MOTOR ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM Motor Mounting / Pinion and Spur Gear Mesh Setting the Gear Mesh Proper gear mesh is important to the performance of your vehicle.If mesh is too loose it will cause the spur gear to fail (strip); if set too tight it will decrease speed and the motor will overheat. To set the gear mesh, loosen the motor screws and insert a small piece of paper between Pinion gear and Spur gear. Push the gears together and re-tighten the screws.
