D Sicherheitsanweisungen Allgemein • Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie sie zum Nachlesen auf. • Machen Sie sich insbesondere mit den Hinweisen zum Flugbetrieb vertraut. Dieses Modell ist kein Spielzeug! • Kinder unter 14 Jahren sollten das Modell nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen in Betrieb nehmen. Vergewissern Sie sich bei Ihrer Versicherung, ob Sie beim Ausüben Ihres Hobbys versichert sind, bzw. schließen Sie eine spezielle Modellflugversicherung ab.
D Fliegen Sie am besten nur in geschlossenen Räumen Fliegen Sie nicht • Mit einem Freiraum von mindestens 3 m in alle Richtungen • Wenn Sie übermüdet oder anderweitig in Ihrer Reaktionsfähigkeit beeinträchtigt sind. • Auf glattem Untergrund • Bei Windstärke 1 oder höher. • Ohne stehende (Möbel) oder bewegte Hindernisse (Personen, Tiere) • In der Nähe von Hochspannungsleitungen oder Funkmasten, oder bei Gewitter! Atmosphärische Störungen können die Signale Ihres Fernsteuersenders beeinflussen.
D Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das beigefügte Ladegerät. • Betreiben Sie das Ladegerät nur auf schwer entflammbaren Untergründen und • Lassen Sie das Ladegerät während des Ladevorganges niemals unbeaufsichtigt. • Legen Sie auch den Akku während des Ladens auf eine nicht entflammbare Unterlage. • Laden Sie nur Akkus gleicher Bauart und Kapazität. • Achten Sie beim Laden der Akkus auf die richtige Polarität. • Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung des Ladegerätes während des Ladens.
Hinweis D • Leere Batterien/Akkus immer nach Gebrauch aus dem Modell entfernen. • Trocken-Batterien sind nicht wiederaufladbar. • Wiederaufladbare Akkus müssen vor dem Aufladen aus dem Modell genommen werden. • Die Anschlusskabel dürfen nicht kurzgeschlossen werden. • Laden nur unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen. • Bitte überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Elektronik oder Akkus, Ladegerät, Anschlussstecker, Kabel, Gehäuse und andere Teile auf Schäden. • Akkus/Batterien nur mit dem richtigen Pol einlegen.

D d. Funktion der Eingabetaste S/N Identifikation Funktion 1 Gashebel/Heckrotorhebel Durch eine Vorwärts- und Rückwärtsbewegung des Steuerhebels steigt der Hubschrauber auf bzw. ab. Durch eine Bewegung des Steuerhebels nach links oder rechts wird der Rumpf des Hubschraubers nach links bzw. rechts gedreht. 2 Nick/Roll-Steuerhebel Durch eine Vorwärts- und Rückwärtsbewegung des Steuerhebels bewegt sich der Hubschrauber nach vorne bzw. nach hinten.
T X 4. Einstellung Umkehrung Expert-Modus Halten Sie den Nick-/Roll-Hebel für 1 Sekunde nach unten gedrückt, um zu den Einstellungen zu gelangen. Drücken Sie die Taste für die Gastrimmung nach oben oder nach unten, um die Umkehrung auszuwählen. Halten Sie anschließend den Nick-/RollHebel für eine Sekunde nach unten gedrückt, um die Einstellung zu bestätigen und um den Modus wieder zu verlassen. D M1 M2 Expert f. D 5. Einstellung der Nick-Empfindlichkeit – Expert-Modus Halten Sie den Nick-/Roll-Hebel für 1 Sekunde nach unten gedrückt, um zu den Einstellungen zu gelangen. Drücken Sie die Gas/HeckrotorTaste, bis das Symbol der Linie mit 5 Punkten zu blinken beginnt (siehe Abbildung). Drücken Sie die Nick-Trimmung, um die Empfindlichkeit einzustellen. Halten Sie dann den Nick-/Roll-Hebel für 1 Sekunde nach unten gedrückt, um die Einstellung zu bestätigen und um den Modus wieder zu verlassen. Blinkt 6.
h. LiPo Akku laden D Der Hubschrauber ist mit einem LiPo-Akku ausgestattet 3,7 V 1-Zelle 450 mAh Lipo-Akku Der mitgelieferte LiPo-Akku befindet sich einem Kasten an der Unterseite des Rumpfs Ihres Hubschraubers. Schalten Sie Ihren Hubschrauber aus, stecken Sie das Ladekabel in die dafür vorgesehene Ladeöffnung Aus Sicherheitsgründen verfügt der 3,7 V 1-Zellen Akku über eine integrierte Sicherheitsabschaltung. Sie können den Akku direkt an das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Ladegerät anschließen.
Tipp D Der Helikopter findet seine Steuerungs-Zentrierung automatisch, 3 Sekunden nachdem er gelandet ist. Links drehen T X R X M1 Expert M2 Rechts drehen Mit dem Heckrotor wird der Rumpf Ihres Hubschraubers nach links/ rechts gedreht. T X R X M1 Expert M2 Vorwärts Rückwärts Nick bewegt Ihren Hubschrauber vorwärts/rückwärts. Bewegung nach rechts T X Bewegung nach links R X M1 Expert M2 Roll bewegt Ihren Hubschrauber „seitwärts“ nach links/rechts.
Helikopter startklar machen D Ihr Helikopter ist mit einem 4-in-1 Gyro Empfänger ausgestattet mit Failsafe nach dem Einschalten. 1 Dieser ist dazu da, dass der Motor erst startet, wenn er ein entsprechendes Funksignal empfängt, wenn der LiPo-Akku angeschlossen wird. Die richtige Startreihenfolge ist folgende: 2 3 T X R X M1 Expert M2 OFF Bewegen Sie den Steuerknüppel des Senders (und den Gasabgleich) in die niedrigste Gasstellung. 4 Schalten Sie den Sender ein.
D l. Ausbalancieren des Modells Der Helikopter muss korrekt ausbalanciert sein. Bei falscher Schwerpunktlage verlieren Sie die Kontrolle über das Modell! Die Schwerpunktlage des Modells ist voreingestellt. Korrekturen sind nur notwendig, wenn Sie mit den Flugeigenschaften nicht zufrieden sind. Der Schwerpunkt des Heli-Modells sollte exakt im Drehpunkt der Rotorachsen liegen. Verschieben Sie den Flugakku, um die optimale Schwerpunktlage zu ermitteln.
n. Flugbetrieb D Überprüfung der Reichweite des Fernsteuersenders Überprüfen Sie vor jedem ersten Start oder nach einem Crash die Funktion und Reichweite der RC-Anlage! In der Neutralstellung der Steuerhebel von Nick und Roll sollte auch die Taumelscheibe in Neutralstellung stehen. Ist dies nicht der Fall, korrigieren Sie die Stellung mit den Trimhebeln des jeweiligen Steuerkanals am Sender. • Entfernen Sie sich langsam von dem Modell (Motor läuft nicht!).
D Schwebeflug Schwebeflug heißt, den Helikopter stabil auf einer Stelle in der Luft zu halten. Schwebeflug ist nur mit einem Helikopter möglich und muss als grundlegende Flugfigur intensiv geübt werden. • Wenn Sie dabei Unstimmigkeiten in der Steuerung oder eine Unwucht im Rotor bemerken, landen Sie Machen Sie sich dazu mit den Steuerfunktionen Ihres Fernsteuersenders vertraut, so dass diese „in Fleisch und Blut“ übergehen. • Steigern Sie die Flughöhe allmählich.
Wenn Sie den Schwebeflug beherrschen, fangen Sie mit einfachen Flugfiguren an: Trainieren Sie die Beherrschung des Modells, lassen Sie es schweben, steigen, sinken, fliegen Sie vorwärts und rückwärts und fliegen Sie Kurven. Freiflugtraining • Bzw. lassen Sie das Modell auf sich zu fliegen und steuern Sie in umgekehrter Richtung. • Fliegen Sie das Modell immer vor sich oder lassen Sie es über sich kreisen.

Safety Precautions General • Read the Operating Manual carefully and keep it for future reference. • Make yourself familiar with all the instructions for flight operation. GB This model is not a toy! • This radio controlled model is not a toy. Learning how to control it correctly is a gradual process. Make sure that you have sufficient insurance cover when practising your hobby. • Children under 14 years of age should be supervised by an adult.
GB It is best to fly only in closed rooms Do not fly • With a free space of at least 3 m in all directions • If you are overtired or your reactivity is impaired in any way. • On a smooth foundation • At wind-force 1 or greater • Without standing (furniture) or moving obstacles (persons, animals) • Keep your model away from high voltage cables or radio masts. Never use the model when lightning is present. Atmospheric disturbances can affect the signals of your remote controlling transmitter.
Employ exclusively the included battery charger. • Operate the battery charger only on fire resistant surfaces and • Also place the battery on a non-inflammable surface while charging. GB • Ensure for sufficient ventilation of the battery charger while charging. Never subject the battery charger, the batteries and the model to adverse local conditions! These are for instance: • Wetness, too high air humidity (> 75% rel., condensing). Do not touch the battery charger with wet hands.
Advice • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • Regular examination of transformer or battery charger for any damage to their cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. d. Input Key Function S/N GB Identification Function 1 Throttle/Tail rotor stick Forward and backward movement of the stick makes the helicopter ascend and descend respectively. Left and right movement of the stick will rotate the helicopter’s fuselage left/ right respectively. 2 Nick/roll stick Forward and backward movement of the stick makes the helicopter move forward and backward respectively. Left and right movement of the stick makes the helicopter drift sideways left/right respectively.
T X 4. Expert Mode reverse setup Hold down the nick/roll stick for 1 second to enter the setting status. Press the throttle trim key up or down to choose reverse. And then hold down the nick/roll stick for 1 second to confirm and exit. M1 M2 Expert GB f. Sensitivity Setup 1. Tail rotor (rudder) sensitivity setup NOR (normal) mode Hold down the nick/roll stick for 1 second to enter the setting status.
5. Nick sensitivity – Expert mode Hold down the nick/roll stick for 1 second to enter the setting status. Press throttle/tail rotor key until the five-point dotted line symbol starts to flash (see picture beside). Press nick trim to set the sensitivity and then hold down the nick/roll stick for 1 second to confirm and exit. Flashing GB 6. Roll sensitivity – Expert mode Hold down the nick/roll) stick for 1 second to enter the setting status.

LiPo Battery Charging The helicopter is equipped with a LiPo battery 3.7 V 1-cell 450 mAh Lipo battery The supplied LiPo battery is mounted inside a cradle on the underside of your helicopter’s fuselage. GB Power off your helicopter, put the charging line into the charging hole Charging jack For safety, the 3.7 V 1-cell battery has an integrated safety auto cut-off PCB. You can connect the battery to the supplied charger directly. The LED is OFF whilst charging and turns ON when charging is finished.
Tip The helicopter will find the rudder central automatically in 3 seconds after the helicopter landing on the ground. Left rotation T X R X M1 Expert M2 GB Right rotation With the tail rotor your helicopter’s fuselage rotates left/right. T X R X M1 Expert M2 Forward Backward Nick moves your helicopter forward/backward. Right movement T X Left movement R X M1 Expert M2 Roll moves your helicopter “sideways” left/right.
To make the helicopter ready for takeoff Your RC helicopter’s 4-in-1 gyro receiver is equipped with a power-on failsafe. 1 This is designed to ensure that the helicopter’s motor will not start unless it detects a suitable radio-control signal when the LiPo battery is connected. The correct start-up sequence is as follows: 2 3 GB T X R X M1 Expert M2 OFF Move the transmitter‘s collective joystick (and throttle trim) to the minimum throttle setting. 4 Power-on the transmitter.
l. Equilibrating the Model The helicopter must be correctly balanced. If there is an incorrect location of the centre of gravity, you lose the control over the model! GB The location of the centre of gravity of the model is preset. Corrections are only necessary if you are not satisfied with the flight characteristics. The centre of gravity of the helicopter-model should lie exactly in the rotation point of the rotor axis.
n. Flight Operation Check the effective range of the remote control transmitter Before every first start or after a crash, check the function and effective range of the RC equipment! In the neutral position of the control lever of nick and roll, the swash plate should also be in neutral position. If this is not the case, correct the position with the trim levers of the respective control channel on the transmitter. • Move slowly away from the model (motor is not running!).
Hover flight GB Hover flight means maintaining the helicopter in a stable position in the air. Hover flight is only possible with a helicopter and must be thoroughly practiced as a fundamental flight formation. • If you notice irregularities in the control or an imbalance in the rotor, land Acquaint yourself with the control functions of your remote control transmitter so that this procedure gets you’re your “flesh and blood”. • Increase the flying height gradually by degrees.
If you have mastered hover flight, begin with simple flying formations: Train your command of the model, allow it to ascend and descend, hover and move forwards and backward in the air as well as execute turns. GB Free flying training • When you feel secure, stand laterally to the model and practice control from this angle of view or • Allow the model to fly toward you and control it in the opposite direction. • Always fly the model in front of you or allow it to circle above you.
