Coupling
Hardware Package (included):
1. Thread two fixture mounting screws to the mounting plate, and secure them with
two lock nuts. Adjust the length of the fixture mounting screws if necessary.
2. Attach the mounting plate to outlet box by using two mounting screws.
3. Screw the tubes onto the coupling of the main fixture. (See Fig.1)
4. Take two loop locks, open the locking tube, and then hook it onto the loop of the
tube and the loop of hanger. Close back the locking tube of the loop lock.
5. There are four 12"L rods and one 6"L rod and one 3"L rod are attached in
the hardware package, choose the desired installation height you need. Then
thread the fixture wires and fixture grounding wire through the rods and threaded
pipes as shown in the graph.
Note: Length adjustable from 28-1/8" to 85-1/8". Use fewer rods if shorter length is desired.
6. Screw all rods together until securely by using the threaded pipes, and then lock to the stems of hunger securely.
7. Place the canopy over the rods, making sure the threaded pipes feed through the holes of canopy, then screw canopy with two flat
washers, washers and hex nuts.
8. Cut any excess fixture wires and fixture grounding wire. Slit the two fixture wires apart in 5 inches. Peel off insulation of the two wires
in 5/8 inch.
9. Pull out the house supply wires and the house grounding wire from the outlet box. Make wire connections using the wire connectors:
--- The smooth wire (marked) from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.
--- The ridged wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.
--- Attach the fixture grounding wire to the mounting plate with the green grounding screw. Then connect it to the house grounding
wire with a wire connector.
Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.
10. Raise the canopy against the ceiling, with the fixture mounting screws located on the mounting plate protruding from
the holes on the canopy, secure it with two bolt nuts.
11. Attach the glass shades onto the glass holders, then secure them with the metal pads and socket rings.
12. Install 6 x 60W max medium base bulbs (not included) to the sockets.
Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.
