Turn on the power at fuse or circuit box
Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.
Installation Steps
1. Remove two set screws, and then remove the cover from the fixture.
2. Take a glass panel from the side glass panel package, insert it into the fixture carefully, and then secure it by pressing
clips on top side and bottom side of fixture. Repeat with the other side glass panels.(See Fig.1)
3. Attach the cover back to the fixture, secure it with the set screws.
4. Slip the threaded pipe up through the fixture, and then slip the cap and rubber pad down through the threaded pipe to
the fixture, finally secure them with the finial.
5. Open the door of fixture, install the glass panel marked “door glass panel” to door, and then secure it by pressing the
clips on top side and bottom side of door.
6. Attach the candle tubes onto the sockets, and then install bulbs (not included). See relamping label at socket area
or packaging for maximum allowed wattage.
7. Close the door of fixture, and then lock it using the latch.
8. Pull out the source wires from the post. Make wire connections using wire nuts as follows:
---Connect the hot wire (usually black insulation) from the fixture to the black wire from the post
---Connect the neutral wire (usually white insulation) from the fixture to the white wire from the post
---Attach the fixture grounding wire (usually green insulation or bare wire) to the grounding wire from the post.
Carefully put the wires back into the post.
9. Place the fitter on the post, and then secure it with the fitter screws.
1. Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box before starting installation.
2. Unscrew the hex nut and washer to remove the plate from the fixture.
2. Loosen the wire nuts connected with the wires from photocell. (See Fig.2)
Note: Do not move the photocell to prevent water from seeping into the post.
3. Take a white pigtail and black pigtail and make wire connections using wire nuts: (See Fig.3)
a. The black wire from the fixture to one end of the black pigtail.
b. The white wire from the fixture to one end of the white pigtail.
c. The other end of the black pigtail to the black wire from the power source.
d. The other end of the white pigtail to the white wire from the power source.
Put all wires back into the post.
