If you set the time

after purchasing

the camera and

then immediately

remove the

battery, the set

time is reset.

Load the battery and reset the time (page 20). Then leave the

battery in the camera for at least 24 hours.

• If you have left the battery in the camera for at least 24 hours

and the time is still reset every time you remove the battery, the

function for retaining the camera settings may be corrupted. In

this event, refer to the contact information in “Inquiries

Regarding Repairs”.

The buttons do

not work

immediately after I

switch the camera

on.

If you are using a high-capacity memory card, more time is

required between switching the camera on and being able to use

the buttons.
