1. On the Numeric Solver window, input the equation:

h = vt – 1/2 gt

2. On the list of expression variables that appears, enter values for the

variables:

h = 14, t = 2, and g = 9.8.

3. Here, we will solve for

v, so tap the option button to the left of variable v.

4. Tap 1.

• The [Left–Right] value shows the difference between the left side and right

side results.
