Though it will take some time before the battery goes dead after this icon appears, you should
connect the AC adapter and charge the battery as soon as possible. For information about how to
connect, see “Charging the Battery While it is Connected to the Projector” (page 30).
If you continue using the projector after this icon is displayed, icon
will appear when the battery
level drops to 10% or lower.
Note
If you cannot charge the battery right away after this icon appears, you can extend the
operation time on the remaining charge by performing the following steps.
Note that you will not be able to perform this operation while there is no input signal.

If you continue to use the projector after this icon appears, the projector will turn off automatically after
a short amount of time.
If icon
appears, immediately connect the AC adapter to charge the battery. For information about
how to connect, see “Charging the Battery While it is Connected to the Projector” (page 30).
Precautions During Battery-powered Operation
Note the following precautions while the projector is being powered with the battery.
If there is no input signal to the projector while projection is in progress, the projector will
automatically go into low-power projection and the Light Control setting (page 48) will change to 1
(dimmest). In order to minimize battery power consumption, the Light Control setting cannot be
changed from 1 until an input signal is received again. When an input signal is received by the
projector, the Light Control setting will return to the setting it was at before the input signal stopped.
You can change this setting at this time, if you want.
Projector power will turn off automatically if no key operation is performed and there is no input
signal to the projector for about five minutes under battery power, regardless of the current Auto
Power Off setting (page 35).
1. While projection is in progress, press the [] key.
2. Change the Light Control setting (page 48) to 1.
