Your projector can be powered using the AC adapter (AD-1979PL) that comes with it or an optionally
available battery (YA-B10).
To power the projector using the AC adapter that comes with it, connect the AC adapter as shown in
the illustration below. Be sure to connect in the sequence indicated by the numbers in the illustration:

* The shape of the plug depends on your geographical area.
Important!
Note that the AC adapter becomes warm when connected to a power outlet. When not using
the AC adapter to power the projector, be sure to unplug it from the power outlet.
Do not place the AC adapter on the projector (or the projector on the AC adapter) during use.
Doing so can cause the AC adapter and projector to overheat, resulting in malfunction.
