The optionally available battery (YA-B10) must be charged before it can be used to power the
projector. The optionally available battery (YA-B10) must be charged before it can be used to power
the projector. If you are using a battery for the first time or if a battery has not been used for a long
time, be sure to charge it fully before use.
Important!
After battery-powered operation, be sure to disconnect the battery plug from the projector,
and then stow the cable and plug in the compartment on the side of the battery.
Do not place the battery on the projector (or the projector on the battery) during use. Doing so
can cause the battery and projector to overheat, resulting in malfunction.
Frequently charging a battery can shorten its life. Wait until the battery level is as low as
possible before charging.
Charging the Battery
To charge the battery, connect the projector’s AC adapter to the battery as shown in the illustration
below. Be sure to connect in the sequence indicated by the numbers in the illustration:

Important!
Do not place the AC adapter on the battery (or the battery on the AC adapter) during use.
Doing so can cause the AC adapter and battery to overheat, resulting in malfunction.
