To project the test pattern as the blank screen
Note
The “Blank” function can be used when controlling the projector with the optional remote
controller. For details about the blank screen, see “Functions that Can be Controlled with the
Optional Remote Controller” (page 61).
1.
Display the Setup Menu (page 50).
2.
Use the [] and [] keys to select “Screen Settings” and then press the [ENTER]
key.
3.
Use the [] and [] keys to select “Blank Screen”.
4.
Use the [] and [] keys to select “Test Pattern”.
5.
After the settings are the way you want, press the [MENU] key.
6.
To project the test pattern, press the remote controller’s [BLANK] key.
Control Panel Lock
Control panel lock disables (locks) all of the projector’s keys, except for the [P] key. This limits
projector operation to the optionally available remote controller, which protects against inadvertent
misoperation, etc.
To lock the control panel
1.
Display the Setup Menu (page 50).
2.
Use the [] and [] keys to select “Option Settings 2” and then press the
[ENTER] key.
3.
Use the [] and [] keys to select “Control Panel Lock”.
4.
Press the [] key to select “On”. In response to the confirmation message that
appears, press the [ENTER] key.
This displays the message “Locks the control panel.” for about five seconds. After that, the
message disappears and all projector keys, except for the [P] (Power) key become locked.
