Light Control lets you adjust the light being output by the projector (light source brightness).
Important!
You will not be able to change the Light Control setting while “On” is selected for the “Bright
Mode” setting. If it is, use the procedure under “Bright Mode (Maximum Brightness)” (page 49)
to change the “Bright Mode” setting to “Off”. (The initial default setting for “Bright Mode” is
“Off”.)
1.
Press the [] or [] key.
This displays the Frequent Functions Menu with “Light Control” selected.

Use the [] and [] keys to change the Light Control setting.
The range of the Light Control setting depends on the connection configuration of your
projector as shown below. In either case, the smaller the setting value, the lower the
brightness.

After the settings are the way you want, press the [MENU] key.
Note
The operation below can be performed using the remote controller.
In place of step 1, press the [ ] key.
Precautions During Battery-powered Operation
Projection function is restricted as described below during battery-powered operation.
The Light Control setting cannot be changed when there is no input signal to the projector while it is
being powered by the battery.
