Quick Start Basics
To configure camera settings using the EXILIM Connect app, you need to establish a
connection between the camera and a smartphone that has EXILIM Connect
installed.
Use the procedure under “Controlling the Camera with a Smartphone” (page 24) to
install EXILIM Connect on the smartphone, and then establish a connection between
the camera and smartphone.
While there is a connection between the camera and a smartphone, use the EXILIM
Connect app (page 26) to configure time settings.
1. On the smartphone, go to the EXILIM Connect TOP screen and tap
“
¥”.
2. On the smartphone, tap “Setting up the camera”.
3. On the smartphone, tap “Adjust”.
4. Tap “Run”.
NOTE
• Using the EXILIM Connect app to configure camera time settings automatically
causes the camera’s time zone to change to the connected smartphone’s time
zone.
• You can also use the controller of another (separately available) CASIO camera to
configure the date and time settings manually. For details, refer to the user
documentation that comes with your camera.
