Operating the Camera with the Controller of Another
(Separately Available) CASIO Camera
Operating the Camera with the Controller of 
Another (Separately Available) CASIO Camera
Establishing a connection between this camera and the controller that comes with 
another (separately available) CASIO camera makes it possible to operate the 
camera and to configure camera settings from the controller. This section explains 
how to establish a connection with a controller. For details about operations and 
settings, refer to the user documentation that comes with the other camera.
. Wireless Connection with the Controller that Comes with a 
Separately Available CASIO Camera
This camera connects with the controller of 
another (separately available) CASIO camera 
using Bluetooth wireless technology.
IMPORTANT!
• Your camera has Bluetooth wireless technology communication functionality built 
in. Avoid operating the camera (including camera standalone operations) inside of 
aircraft or anywhere else where wireless data communication is restricted.
This camera needs to be registered on a controller in order to establish a connection 
between them.
1. If there is a memory card loaded in the camera, remove it (page 20).
2. While holding down the shutter button, hold down [p] (Power) for at 
least one second.
This will cause the camera’s operation lamp to flash amber.
3. While holding down the controller shutter button, hold down [p] 
(Power) for at least six seconds.
This will cause the controller’s operation lamp to flash amber to indicate that 
camera registration has started.
