2. DIST Function Menu
k Parameter Input Screen
• { } (X) ... This menu item is displayed while Tail is highlighted. Select it to specify data
value x, and calculates cumulative probability within the range equal to or less than x.
• {
} (X) ... This menu item is displayed while Tail is highlighted. Select it to specify
the data value Lower boundary (Lower) and Upper boundary (Upper), and calculates
cumulative probability within that range.
• {
} (X) ... This menu item is displayed while Tail is highlighted. Select it to specify data
value x, and calculates cumulative probability within the range equal to or greater than
x.
• {
} (X=) ... This menu item is displayed while Tail is highlighted. Select it to specify data
value x, and calculate probability for x (discrete distribution only).
• {EXE} ... This menu item is displayed while “Execute” is highlighted. Pressing the function
key for this menu item executes the calculation and draws its graph.
• {DETAIL} ... Displays the meaning of the currently displayed parameter symbols and
abbreviations (
, , etc.)
k Graph Screen
The menu items below are displayed when you press the graph screen K key.
• {EDIT} ... Displays an editing dialog box for the currently highlighted graph screen value.
• {VIEW} ... Displays a details dialog box for the currently highlighted graph screen value.
• {
} (X) ... Changes the Tail setting to { } (X).
• {
} (X) ... Changes the Tail setting to { } (X).
• {
} (X) ... Changes the Tail setting to { } (X).
• {
} (X=) ... Changes the Tail setting to { } (X=) (discrete distribution only).
• {PICT} ... Lets you save and recall images. For details, see “Storing a Graph in Picture
Memory” (page 5-10).
Note
You can use the setup screen “Background” setting to display the background image of the
DIST mode graph screen. This is the same as the GRAPH mode. See “Background (graph
display background)” (page 1-33).
You can change the coordinate axes and label display on the graph screen using “Grid”,
“Axes”, and “Label” on the setup screen. This is the same as the GRAPH mode. For details,
see “To specify the draw/non-draw status of a graph” (page 5-9).
