SEND MY NAME CARD TO ANOTHER BLUETOOTH DEVICE
Turn Bluetooth on for both devices (steps 1-4) and turn Discovery Mode to On.
Please refer to Bluetooth on page 114.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Contacts and press the Center
Select Key [
OK] . Select My Name Card then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Press the
Right Soft Key D [ Send ].
3. Select
Send via Bluetooth and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
4. With
Add New Device selected, press the Center Select Key [OK] . The handset
will prompt you with the following message on the LCD screen:

YOU ARE CONNECTING TO IN DISCOVERABLE MODE
.
Press the
Center Select Key [OK] .
5. Select the desired device and press the Center Select Key [ PAIR ].
You can also turn Bluetooth on/off through MY SHORTCUTS by pressing the Directional
Key
B right in idle mode.
6. If applicable, the device may prompt you for the passkey.
7. The screen displays Before Connecting To [Device Name] , select either
Always Ask or Always Connect and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
8. The information is then sent via Bluetooth to the receiving device.

WHEN A NEW MESSAGE ARRIVES
1. The received message display appears when a new message arrives.
2. To display the message, select
View Now and press the Center Select Key

1. Press the Left Soft Key C [ Message ], select New Message and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select TXT Message and press the Center Select Key
[
OK] .
2. Enter the email address or phone number and press the
Center Select Key
[
OK] . Or press the Right Soft Key D [ Add ] to access the following options.
t From Contacts : Search for a phone number which is stored in the contacts list.
t
Recent Calls : Search for a phone number which is stored in the recent calls list.
t
Groups : Search the groups stored in the contacts list.
t
To Contacts : Save the number or email you’ve just entered to the contacts list.
t
To PTT Contacts : Save the number you’ve entered to the PTT contact list.
3. Move to the Text field by pressing the Center Select Key [ OK ] and press the
Right Soft Key D [ Options ] to access the following options:
t Insert Quick Text : Inserts already written sentences in TXT message.

Save As Draft : Save the TXT message to the Drafts folder.
t
Add : Attach Graphic, Animation, Sound, Name Card, or Contact.
t
Format Text : Edit the Alignment, Font Size, Font Style, Font Color and Background Color.
t
Priority Level : Set the level of the priority to High or Normal.
t
Save As Quick Text : Save the text as quick text
t
Cancel Message : Cancel message.
4. Enter the message and press the Center Select Key [ SEND ].
