SIM LOCK:
Allows you to lock/unlock the SIM code.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Phone Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select SIM Security then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Enter the four-digit lock code and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . The default
lock code is last 4 digits of your mobile telephone number.
3. Select
SIM Lock and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
4. Select either
Unlocked or Locked and press the Center Select Key [SET] .
5. To unlock the SIM card, enter the PIN Unlock Code and press the
Center Select
Key [OK]
.
GLOBAL DATA ROAMING
To select whether to access data roaming during trips:
1 Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Phone Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Global Data Roaming then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Allow access for all trips , Allow access only for this trip or Deny data
roaming access
, then press the Center Select Key [ SET ].
- Data access during trips outside the local may result in significantly higher
charger.
SYSTEM SELECT
Your phone is Quad-Band Capable, which means it will work in both CDMA and GSM
Destinations. While in the United States or on other CDMA roaming networks, use your
phone in Verizon CDMA Mode. Use your phone in Global Mode while outside of the
U.S. You must have a SIM card in order to select GSM and Global Mode. The SIM Card is
pre-installed in your phone.
You can set your phone to search or roam on another network when you are not in your
home area. Leave this setting as default unless you want to alter the system selection as
instructed by your service provider.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Phone Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select System Select then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select either
CDMA Settings or GSM Settings and press the Center Select Key
[OK]
.
If PTT Mode is set to on, this menu will not appear.

Network Mode : Select either CDMA Mode, GSM Mode or Global Mode and press the
Center Select Key [ SET ] .

CDMA Settings : Select either Automatic or Home Only and press the Center Select
Key
[ SET ] .
•
GSM Settings : Select either Automatic or Manual and press the Center Select Key
[
SET ] . This menu can be accessed in GSM Mode.

Global network modes.
When your phone is in Verizon (CDMA) mode, it does not necessarily mean that
you are on the Verizon Wireless Network. You may roam on other carrier’s networks
domestically and internationally when your phone is in Verizon (CDMA) mode. For

MOTION DETECTION
Helps you set your phone to respond to your actions.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Phone Settings , press the Center Select Key [OK] , select Motion
Detection
then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select either
G’zGEAR or My Pics/Videos and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
• G’zGEAR : When this feature is On, shaking the phone to the left or right will change the
Tool in the G’zGEAR Application.
•
My Pics/Videos : When this feature is On, shaking the Phone to the left or right will
perform a page scroll in the My Pictures/Videos Gallery.
To see Help menu, press the Right Soft Key D [Help] in the G’zGEAR or My Pics/Videos
menu.
