CALL RINGTONE
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Call Sounds then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Call Ringtone and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select a ringtone and press the
Center Select Key [SET] to save the sound.
To listen to the ringtone, press the
Left Soft Key C [ Play ].
CALL VIBRATE
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Call Sounds then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Call Vibrate and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select
On or Off and press the Center Select Key [ SET ].
CALLER ID READOUT
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Call Sounds then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Caller ID Readout and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select
Ring Only , Caller ID + Ring or Name Repeat and press the Center
Select Key
[ SET ].
ALERT SOUNDS
1. Press the
Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Alert Sounds then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
TXT Message , Multimedia Message , Voicemail , Emergency Tone ,
Missed Call or PTT Alert , and then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select the desired alert sound you want to change press the
Center Select Key
[
SET ].
KEYPAD VOLUME
To set the keypad volume:
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Keypad Volume then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Adjust the volume by pressing the
Directional Key B up or down and press
the
Center Select Key [ SET ].
DIGIT DIAL READOUT
The Digit Dial Readout setting controls if digits are read out loud when you type in a
phone number with the keypad.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Digit Dial Readout then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
On or Off and press the Center Select Key [ SET ].
SERVICE ALERTS
To set any of the four Alert options to either On or Off:
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Service Alerts then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select access the following options and press the
Center Select Key [OK] .
• ERI : The Enhanced Roaming Indicator (ERI) feature displays a text banner on the display
screen informing the handset user of which systems the wireless device is using as
compared to the service plan they purchased.
The ERI Banner text changes to tell a customer if they are using the:
Verizon Wireless Network, Extended Network or Roaming.
•
Minute Beep : Alerts you every minute during a call.
•
Call Connect : Alerts you when the call is connected.
•
Software Update : Alert when the software update is made.
3. Select On or Off and press the Center Select Key [ SET ].
