Possible Causes
• You are attempting a print
or preview operation
when no text are input.
• The tape became jammed
during printing.
• You are attempting to
input more than
100 characters into text.
• The number of characters
you are trying to input
while using Layout
Prinitng, Numbering or
Bar Code exceeds the
maximum number of
allowable characters.
• You are attempting to
input more than two block
marks (
B
) into text.
• A 6mm or 9mm tape
cartridge was loaded in
the printer while a 2-line
or 2-block format is
selected for Layout
Printing.
• You are trying to use the Bar
code or Logo function while
a 6mm or 9mm tape cartridge
was loaded in the printer.
Action
• Input the text and then
try again.
• Turn off the printer and
remove the tape
cartridge. Next, remove
the jammed tape.
* If the steps described
above do not clear the
error message, contact
your retailer or your
nearest CASIO service
center.
• Reduce the number of
characters in the
sentence.
• Use only one or two
block marks (
B
) in a
single sentence.
• Turn off the printer and
replace the tape
cartridge with one that is
12mm or wider.

Possible Causes
• A 6mm, 9mm or 12mm
tape cartridge was loaded
in the printer while a
3-line format is selected
for Layout Printing.
• You are attempting to
input a block mark while
FIX is selected for TAPE
LENGTH.
• You are attempting to
print numbering labels
without any input.
• You are trying to print a
bar code that does not
have the required number
of digits.
• The name you are trying
to assign to data is
already being used by
previously stored data.
• The cassette cover is not
closed completely.
• The label you are trying
to print or recall is not
compatible with the
currently loaded tape
cartridge.
Action
• Tur n off the printer and
replace the tape
cartridge with one that is
18mm or wider.
• If you want to cancel the
TAPE LENGTH setting
and input a block mark,
press SET. If you do not
want to input a block
mark, press ESC.
• Input the numbers you
want.
• Re-input the correct
number of digits.
• Input a different name.
• Close the cassette cover.
• Tur n off the printer and
replace the tape
cartridge.
