● Printing is not clear.
● The printer won’t print clearly.
● The printing is too faint.
Probable Cause Required Action
There is dirt, dust or other
soiling on the printer head
and rubber roller.
Clean the printer head and rubber roller.

Reload the tape cartridge correctly.

Use the specified AC adaptor or load new batteries

Probable Cause Required Action
The tape cartridge was
loaded without tightening
the ink ribbon.
Remove the tape cartridge. Check that the ink ribbon
is not cut and then wind the ribbon tight. Then reload
it correctly.
