Storage Precautions
Do not store the tape cartridge, where it will be exposed to high temperature,
high humidity, or direct sunlight.
When storing the tape cartridge, attach its stopper and then return it to its
original box.
Precautions for Use
Magnetic tape can be used with printer models that support 24mm wide tape
only (except KL-820, which does not support the use of magnetic tape).
Make sure that print density is set to 4 or greater for magnetic tape.
If printed tape curls, fl atten it out before using it.
Keep magnetic tape away from magnetic storage media, magnetic cards,
checks, and other items that can be damaged by magnetism.
Do not use the tape where it can be exposed to gasoline or other similar agents.
Check remaining tape before printing to ensure that you do not run out while
printing is in progress.
Using the printer's built-in cutter to cut magnetic tape will shorten the service life
of the cutter blade and can damage the cutter mechanism. Whenever printing
on magnetic tape, always select NONE for the MARGINS setting, or UNCUT
for the tape cut mode. If you are using Label Printing Software to control the
printer from your computer, select No Cut for the Cut Style setting of the Label
Software Properties.
After printing on magnetic tape, feed the tape and cut it with scissors.
