Compose the image and then press the shutter
release button to record it.
Keep the shutter release button depressed to record
the specified number of images.
Releasing the shutter release button before all the im-
ages are recorded stops recording at that point.
IMPORTANT!
You cannot use AEB in the following cases.
When the shutter speed setting is 1 second or
slower
When BULB is selected for the shutter speed
(page 85)
When the battery capacity indicator shows
(page 33)
When the camera is set up using a Best Shot Mode
soft focus scene
When recording TIFF (uncompressed) format im-
ages (page 95)
Note that the flash does not fire while you are using
AEB.
You cannot use the self-timer in combination with the
AEB Mode.
The length of the interval between shots depends on
the Image Size and Quality settings. Certain set-
tings can cause the camera to require a very long in-
terval or variable interval lengths between shots.
Creating a Panorama
The Panorama Mode lets you digitally stitch together mul-
tiple images to create a sweeping panorama.
