To change the projector’s IP address based on the computer’s
IP address and connect by wired LAN
Note
z Use the procedure below when you know the computer’s IP address.
1.
Use a LAN cable to connect a computer directly to the projector.
2.
Specify the projector’s IP address manually.
(1) Perform the following steps to display the IP Settings dialog box: [MENU] key 3
“Network Settings” 3 “Projector Wired LAN Settings”.
z The initial default setting for “IP Settings” is “Auto”.
(2) Press the [X] key to select “Manual” for “IP Settings”.
(3) Use the [T] key to select “IP Address” and then press the [ENTER] key.
z This will display the Input IP Address dialog box.
(4) Use the [W] and [X] keys to change Octet 1 of the IP address so it is the same as the
computer’s IP address After the setting is the way you want press the [T] key.
(5) Repeat step (4) to specify Octets 2 through 4.
z Octets 2 and 3 should be the same as those of the computer’s IP address.
z Octet 4 should be a value in the range of 1 to 254, and different from Octet 4 of the
computer’s IP address.
(6) Press the [ESC] key to return to “Network Settings”.
(7) Select “Update Network Settings” and then press the [ENTER] key.
(8) In response to the network setting update dialog box that appears, press the [S] key to
select “Yes” and then press the [ENTER] key.

Admin pages over a wired LAN connection” (page 54).
