Rnge Checking:
Strt with your trnsmitter on nd its ntenn collpsed, nd then
ctivte the receiver in the ircrft. Check to see tht ll chnnels re
working correctly. strt wlking bckwrds nd counting your pces. For
pssing rnge check, you should be ble to get pproximtely 30 pces
(100ft)wy from the plne before seeing indictions of lost /degrded
signl*.
*Specilote: The Berg by Cstle Cretions receivers re tuned for flying
bove the ground. If the ntenn is very close to the ground (e.g. ircrft
ctully sitting on the ground), you my see  poor rnge check. If this is
the cse - Simply hve  friend hold theircrft up o the ground for you,
or use  picnic tble or similr object to gin  bit of elevtion.
Trnsmitter Signl Recognition (TSR) process:
The receiver “lerns” the chrcteristics nd specific signl signtures of
your trnsmitter when you power it up. After tht, the receiver will only
listen to your trnsmitter*.
ote: If similr trnsmitter on the sme chnnel is powered up nd is
CLOSER to your receiver thn your own trnsmitter, loss of signl/fil
sfe my be experienced.
True Digitl Signl Processing (TDSP):
TDSP is proprietry process developed by Peter Berg. In ddition to
highly dvnced triple-tuned RF filtering hrdwre, Cstle CretionsBerg
receivers use  microprocessor nd sophisticted softwre lgorithms to
filter the incoming signl. The system decides which signls re vlid nd
which re not. ost stndrd F receivers simply pss on the invlid
signls to the servos s  “glitch”.
