Installation Guide

1. Place all parts on a flat surface, attach the two cord
clips (A) to cord (B) as shown in the illustration.
3. Attach two cord clips (A) to the hook (D).
5. Insert the plug (E) into an electrical outlet.
6. Use the cord switch (F) to turn lamp on and off.

This lamp is approved for indoor use only.

Avoid laying objects directly over the power supply
cord to avoid cutting or damaging the wire.
Do not install non-factory wiring or any other
electrical components. Altering or modifying
the lamp in any way will render the product
unsafe.
Keep curtains, shades, wall hangings and all
other fabrics and objects away from the lamp,
lamp switch and light bulb. Lamps are not
designed to support additional weight.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. To clean: use a soft, dry cloth only.
2. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaning solutions.

4. Insert and screw the light bulb (not included)
into socket.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn off and unplug the lamp and allow bulb to
cool before replacing bulb.
2. Light bulb should never touch the lamp shade.
DO NOT EXCEED RECOMMENDED BULB WATTAGE
ON THE RATING LABEL
Uses one 40 watt type S bulb or one 25 watt type A bulb
or CFL or LED equivalent.
1. This portable luminaire has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug
can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
NOTE: Before installation assure proximity to an
electrical outlet.
2. Install hook (D) to ceiling.
Insert the Plug (E) into electrical outlet, lift the lamp
and determine the location of the hook (D), make a
mark with a pencil and unplug the unit.
For cement and drywall ceilings: See illustration #1.
Drill each hole 7mm in diameter and 32mm deep.
Install the two plastic anchors (C) into the holes.
Screw the hook (D) into the two plastic anchors (C).
For wood ceilings: See illustration #2.
Screw the hook (D) into the wood ceiling or beam.
Tools required for assembly (not included):
Tape measure, pencil, drill, step ladder, hammer, pliers.
Caution: Do not install pendant or pendant hooks on
a radiant-heated ceiling.
