IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read and Save:

To reduce the chance of fire or electrical shock: Do not install non-factory wiring or any other electrical components.

Altering or modifying the lamp in any way will render the lamp unsafe.

2. Keep curtains, shades, wall hangings and all other fabrics and objects away from the lamp shade, light switch and the

light bulb. Lamps are not designed to support additional weight. Do not hang any objects from the lamp or any lamp part.

3. Unit is to be ceiling mounted only.

Do not pendant mount (hanging by a cable, wire or stem).

4. Before starting the installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the appropriate fuse

at the fuse box. Turning off the power at the light switch is not sufficient to prevent electrical shock.

5. This unit is suitable for installation in a dry, indoor location only.

6. Electrical Connections: All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances and the National

Electric Code. If you are unfamiliar with methods of installing electrical wiring, secure the services of a qualified,

licensed, electrician.

7. This unit is to be mounted to a metal electrical junction box (outlet box) directly supported by the building structure.

8. Tools and Materials Required: (Not Included) flathead screwdriver, wire cutters, step ladder, pliers,

U.L./CSA listed electrical tape.

LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT

1. Uses nine standard type A bulbs up to 60 watts or CFL or LED equivalent (not included).

2. DO NOT EXCEED RECOMMENDED WATTAGE.

3. Turn off the unit and allow the bulb to cool before touching.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Clean using a mild cleaning solution and a soft cloth.

2. Never use a rough cloth or chemical cleaners containing acids, abrasives or solvents.

Installation 1 Installing the mounting bracket 2 Installing the fixture assembly Carefully unpack and lay all parts on a clean, level surface. Unscrew the canopy nut (C), detach the mounting bracket (A), canopy nut (C) and screw collar (D). Install the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box (not included) with two junction box screws (AA). Thread the screw collar (D) onto the preassembled tube on the mounting bracket (A) and secure with the preassembled hex nut.

Assemblage de l’ensemble 2 Installation luminaire du support 1 Installation de montage Ouvrez légèrement les bras de la lampe et assurez-vous que les bras sont également répartis (voir illustration 1). Soulevez la plaque (F) vers le haut du dispositif de montage (G). Assurez-vous que la fente de la plaque (F) est alignée avec les bras. Placez le couvercle (H) et l'écrou moleté (I) sur le dispositif de montage (G) et fixez-les à l'aide du crochet (J).

Instalación 2 Instalación de la luz del soporte 1 Instalación de montaje Abra ligeramente los brazos de la lámpara y verifique que exista la misma distancia entre cada brazo (ver diagrama 1). Eleve la placa (F) hacia la parte superior de la luminaria (G). Verifique que la ranura de la parte superior de la placa (F) esté en línea con los brazos. Ponga la cubierta (H) y la tuerca estriada (I) en la luminaria (G), y luego fíjelas con el bucle (J).
