Using the microSD Card as USB Mass Storage
To transfer all your favorite music and pictures from your PC onto your
mobile phone’s microSD card, set the microSD card as USB mass
storage.
1. Connect your mobile phone to your PC with the USB cable. (The
first time you do this, you may be asked to install drivers on the PC via
set-up program)
2. Touch Turn on USB storage in the dialog box that opens to
confirm that you want to transfer files. Your PC will detect the microSD
card as a removable disk. You can now transfer files from your PC to
your phone’s microSD card.
The USB icon displays in the Notifications bar so you can switch on or
off the USB storage connection.
Note: While USB mass storage function is enabled, some functions may
not be available.
Calling
There are several ways to place a phone call. You can dial a number,
select a number in your contacts list, on a Web page, or from a
document that contains a phone number. When you are on a call, you
can either answer incoming calls or send them to your voicemail box.
You can also set up conference calls with several participants.
Note:
If your phone is a Dual-SIM device, and you are in a call using one SIM
card, the other SIM card is out of service for the duration of that call
and you cannot use it to receive other calls.
Making a Call
To make a call, you can use the Phone application, or select a number
from Contacts or Call Log.
When you are on a call, you can press the central Home button to
return to the Home screen and use other functions. To return to the
calling screen, drag the notification bar down and touch Current call.
Note:
Be careful not block the microphone (below the screen) with your
fingers.
Making a Call with the Dialer
1. Touch on the Home screen display or press the green Send
key to display the dialer. If you are already working with Contacts or
Call Log, touch the Phone tab. Or you can touch the Launcher . and
then .
2. Touch the appropriate numeric keys to enter the phone number.
Tip: Your mobile phone supports the SmartDial function, that is, when
