6. Mount thelenstube inaholder ormountthat allowsrotation
of the entire assembly around the long axis.
7. Apply powerto thediode, abovethreshold butwell belowthe
maximum permissible current.
8. Approximatelyfocus at several metres distance. Itmay be
helpfultoreflectitfromamirrorandbacksothatyoucan
adjustthealignmentandseetheeffectnearby. Youshould
adjustfocusuntilyouseeacleansymmetricellipseatthis
