IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that the two conditions above cannot be
met(for example certain device configurations or co-location with another
transmitter), then the FCC authorization is no longer considered valid and the
FCC ID cannot be used on the final product. In these circumstances, the OEM
integrator will be responsible for re-eqvaluation the end product (including the
transmitter) and obtaining a separate FCC authorization.
WLAN adapter not populated with a chip antenna and will not be supplied.
Manual Information That Must be Included:
The OEM integrator has to be aware not to provide information to the end user
regarding how to install or remove. This RF module in the user’s manual of the
end product which integrates this module. The user’s manual for OEM
Integrators must include the following information in a prominent location
“ IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance
requirements, the antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to provide
a separation distance of at lest 20cm from all persons and must not be co-
located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
End Product Labeling:
The final end product must be labeled in a visible area with the following:
“Contains FCC ID:O5PWM294”.
Information for Detachable Antenna
-Product uses detachable antenna(s) thus in the manual the following rule (with
text or in the manual) from RSS-Gen section 7.1.2 applies:
Integrator shall use only with supplied antenna (WSS015, WSS002)
WSS015: antenna type: Diople, maximum permitted gain: 2.0 dBi

WSS002: antenna type: Diople, maximum permitted gain: 2.0 dBi
