Check that you heater model number corresponds to the model number show
n on the mounting kit carton
STEP 1
Fasten Arm Assembly (# 1) to a surface or structure that will support
the heater's weight using the installer supplied fasteners.
Note: Installer to supply four 3/8" diameter, grade 5 bolts or
equivalent strength fasteners.
STEP 2
Bolt the FX5 Mounting Adapters (# 3) to the heater using
1/2"-13 UNC X 1 1/4" bolts (# 4), flat washers(# 6), locking washers (#
7)
and 1/2"-13 UNC nuts (# 5).
STEP 3
Bolt FX5 Bracket, Mounting Attachment (# 2) to the FX5
Mounting
Adapters (# 3) using 1/2" UNC-13 nuts (# 5) and 1/2" lock
ing washers (# 7).
Note: Mtg Attach Assy Bracket (# 2) must be place
d with the threaded hole
closet to the control enclosure side of the heater.
STEP 4
Lift the heater into place and fasten it to the Arm Assembly
(# 1) using a
5/8"-11 UNC X 1 1/4" bolt and 5/8" (#8) locking washer (# 9
).
Caution: This step will require more than one person due to
the weight
of the heater. Refer to the owners manual for the weight of th
e heater.
