Telephone operation
Character Table for the entering names
Use the dial pad and the chart below to enter a name (up to 12 characters). Each press of a particular key causes the
characters to be displayed in following order:
Character by number if key presses
Number key

Note: To correct an error, press [DEL]. Press the number key repeatedly until the desired character appears.
Example: If you would like to input ¡PETER¡, you should press [7] for [P], [3][3] for [E], [8] for [T], [3][3 ] for [E], [7][7][7]
for [R].
View a phonebook record
Records are stored alphabetically. To search the phonebook:
1. Press [ ] when handset is not in use.
2. Press [ ] / [ ] to browse.
3. Press [ ] to view the name and number.
Searching by first character (alphabetical search)
1. Press [ ] when handset is not use
2. Press [1] ¨ [9] which contains the character you are searching for, then
3. Press [ ] / [ ] to select the desired record if necessary, then
4. Press [ ] or [ ]
Make a call from phonebook
1. Press [ ], then
2. Press [ ] / [ ] to select the desired record, then
3. Press [ ] or [ ]
