Configure Alarms and Events
Configuration of FF alarms and events is done by setting the appropriate block
parameters requiring the following steps:
Enable FF alarms and events for each device.

Parameter Description
ALERT_KEY The value of the ALERT_KEY must be in the range 1 .. 255.
MODE_BLK The mode parameter consists of several parts. The Target
mode defines the mode of operation which the block should
adopt. The modes of operation into which the block can be
switched via the Target mode are specified by means of the
Permitted Mode. The Actual mode shows the current mode
of the block. The following modes of operation should be set
for the block types (refer to Tabl e 1 3 ).
Scaling Customize the scaling of the individual blocks to the
requirements of your process.
