SETTINGS
You may set up the DNS 8D over the network
using a standard web browser.
Determine the address of your DNS8D by
inspecting the Status window, then launch your
browser and type the following into the address
bar…
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/settings.html
…where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is that address.
Warning: Do not change the Network settings
unless you are condent in your ability to do so
correctly.
Note that the DNS 8D is intended for use
on trusted networks only. The authentication
mechanism required for the browser interface
protects against accidental changes of settings
(for example, where multiple units are installed
on a single network for multiple rooms or
broadcasts) but it does not protect the DNS 8D
from malicious attacks.
